The Cheetah Girls Movies
The all-girl band the Cheetah Girls starred in three Disney Channel original movies: The Cheetah Girls (2003), The Cheetah Girls 2 (2006) and The Cheetah Girls: One World (2008). In the first movie, the four members of the group join a talent competition while being freshmen at the Manhattan High School for the Performing Arts. In the sequel, the girls take their dream of becoming pop stars to Spain as they enter a music contest. In the third film, the three girls, minus Galleria (played by Raven Simone), travels to India to shoot a musical. Each movie features beautiful songs and well-choreographed dance numbers as the girls try to overcome various obstacles.
High School Musical Movies
The first movie in this series was released in 2006 and introduces us to Troy, Gabrielle, Sharpay, other characters and how their lives changed when they participate in a winter musical. In the much-anticipated sequel (2007), it’s summertime and again we meet the original characters as they mesmerize us with song and dance numbers intertwined with a well-written script. In High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008), the students prepare for the spring musical as they bid adieu to their beloved school. Fun, energetic and with a romantic twist to boot, this Disney original film series will appeal to viewers of any age.
