Portrait of Thought by Dagna Napierala
Last Updated on March 5, 2021
Our thought underlies almost all human actions and interactions. When you’re walking down the street, you can look at somebody right in the eyes yet have no clue about their state of intellectual activity. The phenomenology movement in philosophy saw a radical change in the way in which we understand thought. I think we are constantly evolving and are finding lucrative perspectives about this thing we call life.
Dagna Napierala‘s project showcases the cycle presenting a person not through her outside features, but through her thoughts. There’s a tangle of thoughts; quiet, terrifying thoughts, black thoughts, castles built in the air. To create “thoughts” the paper has been used. Material which is very graceful, volatile and is easy to manipulate with. We think Dagna has a unique perspective and think you’ll enjoy her impressive work too!
